I created this beautiful Advent Calendar for the Hybrid Chick. You can see the instructions and supply list on their Blog HERE.

I have gotten quite a few questions as to what  ‘Activities’ I included…well to be honest this is our first year doing a little calendar like this (and so far my dd LOVES it! ) but most of my inspiration came from this blog post by 24/7 Moms – 25 Days of Christmas

Halloween Projects!

And what about some Paper Pieced Cards? I had to make these cards for the Month in Cards Challenge at 2peas! They are just sooo cute!

Back to School Projects!

I have been very busy making some projects for my Collab with Melissa Wilson…Back to School. Oh man and this is just one of those kits that I am sure will be a huge hit! It has sooo much to offer! I even scrapped a page!!! lol!

Chrismari has officially started school! It really is such a Bittersweet time for me…I miss my little girl! ;(

But I also get more time to create…which is not such a bad thing!

Oh and I also did these Journaling Labels for my Collab with Courtney Wilson…sooo WDYT?

I will be doing a step-by-step tutorial next week on how to make these! So remember to check out the Hybrid Chick Blog!

Hybrid +MM Slice = Happiness!!!

Okay Okay I must admit I waited years before I could afford it and justify it…but I love my Slice! I just want to use it for nearly every project I am working on! I know it is sad…very sad! lol!

I even made hairclips with it!!! Oh yes go and visit the Hybrid Chick Blog to see my step by step instructions!

But getting back to happiness…look at this adorable and cute Gift Bag set I made with my latest release Happiness – a mini kit. What I really love about this set is the fact that you dont neeed to have the right set of flowers in it…I included coordinating ready to print flowers with step by step instructions! How cool is that? Here are some additional previews for you:

What I also just love is the labels that are just perfect to customise with either Chipboard Alphabets or Stamps. I really enjoy offering more Hybrid products!

Oh and before I sign off I need to share a layout I did…also using the Happiness Kit…

Happy 4th of July!

It was so funny we had a few eager celebraters last night…or maybe they are just testing out their fireworks? Dont know but we got a little taste of 4th of July festivities.

In the past 2 months a LOT of things have been happening…here are a few I can share:

I begged and pleaded Melissa Wilson from the Hybrid Kid to please give me spot on her team (and she is just too nice to say no! lol!)…and I even got my own custom blinkie!

I made these adorable stars using Kelleigh Ratzlaffs Stars and using my MM Slice…and Melissa’s Backyard BBQ…such a cute and fun kit!

They look so pretty on my mantelpiece!

Happy Birthday Kitty!

You are 5 years old! My but where has the time gone? I cannot believe this independant little girl is the same precious little angel we were blessed with 5 years ago!

We had so much fun…but it was soooo hot! Luckily we had the little splash pool otherwise we would have melted! ROFL! One thing that is great about her birthday being in June…it falls in the US Summer and not the middle of the winter as back home in SA! Here are some picture of the party…enjoy!

It has been a CRAZY few weeks for me! I did manage to create a few things in the past week but have not yet had a chance to post them online.

First I did this cute Butterfly mobile inspired by mlepea on the 2peas board, you can see it HERE.

I printed out some papers from my Flutterbies Dotty Paper Pack and used my Butterfly punch for the shapes. I added some clear beads to anchor the strings.

Next up is a cute ‘Learn to Read Paper Bag Album’ for my DD…I used Melissa Wilson’s Animal Alphabet Match to make this book. Such a cute kit with so many creative possibilities!

and I launched a whole new product line this last Thursday… introducing LuvBug…

2nd Hand find and a Frame!

Well hello again! I just wanted to share my awesome find this weekend. We went out for some breakfast and came back with this…

Finally after more than a year I have furniture in every room in the house…that was probably the hardest thing for me not having all the stuff I have gotten used too, I know I cannot complain we are so blessed. And I think waiting actually paid off. We got this set for $ 500 which is a lot but it is an 8 seater with the extensions, a special cover to protect the table and 2 bookcases. Not really my color but I must say even though it still looks bare I think after I jump in and add some pretty curtains and a nice table runner and some more photos along the fireplace it will look quite snazzy!

Also I have been so busy the past few weeks with some hybrid goodies…but this is such a sweet and fast project that is a sure fire winner! I know that once you have made one you will be hooked! lol! Literally!
