Red River Paper is awesome!
March 11, 2010 | Filed Under Hybrid, Scrapbooking | 4 Comments
I was so lucky to receive a inkjet printer sampler packĀ from Red River Paper and oh boy is it gorgeous! They have over 30 different paper types andĀ am I going to be busy trying them all out!
Well the first thing I just had to test was the 60lb. River Linen. It has this stunning Linen Texture…now what happens sometimes when you want that textured paper look for a project and you print it on your Bazzil Cardstock the print might not be as vibrant, not with this Paper. It prints out beautifully and looks absolutely stunning.
Now I am not such an avid stamper as you may know…lol, I have just never gotten the hang of it but the stamped image worked perfectly and did not smear. I also applied some Glimmer Mist to the paper and the colors did not run. I distressed and inked the edges with no smudging. In my opinion that is just awesome!
I used my NEW Collaboration with Madame Wing called All a Flutter available in the Digichick Shop today for 20% OFF! Trust me when I say the papers in this kit is just to die for!
Here are some more views…I had a hard time to get a nice close up shot of the linen texture but I tell you it delights the eye!
And in other news…in just about 15 days we are going to go to Disneyland! Can you believe it? Our very first time ever. I have wanted to go as a child so I dont know who is more excited me or the kids? lol! Counting down the days!

So in between Christmas, School Holidays and my Mom coming to visit I missed out on sharing my layout that was published in the Scrapbooks Etc. Jan/Feb Magazine.
Have you seen it yet?
I was also featured on the Daily Digi Blog and I did this very cute project for them…
It hangs in my scrap room and I must say I totally love it! It was super easy to assemble. I just printed out the banner files and added some stitched crepe paper and cute MM Glitter Chipboard Stickers. Oh and dont forget the buttons!
Last but not least I took forever to complete this very cute project and I am so happy with the results. The reason why it took forever was because I first ran out of ink and then a hundred and one other things piled up on my to do list so I am so happy to finally have it finished. And it was my very first successful embossed image! Yay! lol!
Is that purse not just the cutest? I love love it! It is Kelleigh Ratzlaff’s Sassy Purse Template available at the Digichick. I used some Sassafras Lass Papers, Pink and Orange Bazzil Cardstock, Fiskars Threading Water Punch and my MM Slice for the flowers and butterfly.
So before I forget I hope you all have a wonderful valentines day!

Woohoo! Day 4 is here! Today I am doing some Gift Card Holders. These are super easy to make and assemble in a jiffy!
I used Karla Dudley’s Joy available at TDC and the Printable Gift Card holders also available at TDC.
Step 1:
Create your template in your Photo Editing Software and prepare for printing. Kelleigh has an awesome step by step at the Hybrid Chick Blog.
Step 2:
Print out your templates. Trim and Score and fold along the dotted lines as shwn.
Step 3
Cut a thin slit just a little bit larger than your ribbon on the folded sides as shown here. Thread your Ribbon through. Here is the inside after the Pocket has been added.
Step 4
Embellish!!!
Add those yummy little details! I used some buttons and ribbon scraps to make little mistletoe bunches!

Fashion Plate Printables
December 16, 2009 | Filed Under Hybrid, Scrapbooking | Leave a Comment
I actually made these a few weeks ago but because I did not have a camera I never took photos. I used the Fashion Plate goodie that was a part of the Black Friday deals at TDC. These Printables come pre-assembled all you have to do is just print them out at home and put it all together. I decorated mine with some goodies from my scrapping stash – some die-cuts and flowers and of course buttons! I also used a stamp set by Hero Arts.
After months of oohing and aahing I decided it is time for me to make my own Glimmer Mist (It is always sold out and if I want it now I want it now!!! ROFL!) Here is the recipe if anyone is interested! Glimmer Mist with Pearl Ex.
Here is a bit of a close up but you still cannot see the ‘Glittery Prettiness’ very well…
But trust me it is gorgeous!!! The butterfly is all sparkly.
Enjoy!

I am going to share this quick and easy wrappers. All you need is either a Paper Bag or a Cellophane Treat Bag. Fill it up with some goodies (IDEAS: Candy, Hot Chocolate, Homemade Cookies etc.).
Print out the Snow Much Fun Wrapper PDF. Trim the papers and punch out the tags ( I used the Marvy Uchida Mega Punch). Wrap around your bags and as easy as that you have something super simple and so cute!
