Gardenologie Cards
July 21, 2010 | Filed Under Hybrid | 4 Comments
I have been eyeing this kit by Quirky Twerp for a very long time…Gardenologie. It is soft and feminine with a shabby feel to it. I decided to do a few challenges and this kit was just perfect for it!
My first Card is for the Clean and Simple challenge (CAS76) at Splitcoaststampers.
I pretty much stayed with the sketch but I think it really is such a sweet card.
Next up is my card for the Hybrid Chick Caravan.
I just love the tags included in the kit and can see many uses for it!
Thanks for stopping by!

I love my Cricut and all of the Creative Possibilities! I used Red River’s Double Sided Polar Matte to create these gorgeous cards and envelopes. The Envelope Templates are from my new venture The Cutting Files Rectangular Envelopes. I used the papers and elements from the Endless Summer Collab by the TDC Designers…Drool with me because those papers are gorgeous!

Red River Paper is awesome!
March 11, 2010 | Filed Under Hybrid, Scrapbooking | 3 Comments
I was so lucky to receive a inkjet printer sampler packĀ from Red River Paper and oh boy is it gorgeous! They have over 30 different paper types andĀ am I going to be busy trying them all out!
Well the first thing I just had to test was the 60lb. River Linen. It has this stunning Linen Texture…now what happens sometimes when you want that textured paper look for a project and you print it on your Bazzil Cardstock the print might not be as vibrant, not with this Paper. It prints out beautifully and looks absolutely stunning.
Now I am not such an avid stamper as you may know…lol, I have just never gotten the hang of it but the stamped image worked perfectly and did not smear. I also applied some Glimmer Mist to the paper and the colors did not run. I distressed and inked the edges with no smudging. In my opinion that is just awesome!
I used my NEW Collaboration with Madame Wing called All a Flutter available in the Digichick Shop today for 20% OFF! Trust me when I say the papers in this kit is just to die for!
Here are some more views…I had a hard time to get a nice close up shot of the linen texture but I tell you it delights the eye!
And in other news…in just about 15 days we are going to go to Disneyland! Can you believe it? Our very first time ever. I have wanted to go as a child so I dont know who is more excited me or the kids? lol! Counting down the days!

So in between Christmas, School Holidays and my Mom coming to visit I missed out on sharing my layout that was published in the Scrapbooks Etc. Jan/Feb Magazine.
Have you seen it yet?
I was also featured on the Daily Digi Blog and I did this very cute project for them…
It hangs in my scrap room and I must say I totally love it! It was super easy to assemble. I just printed out the banner files and added some stitched crepe paper and cute MM Glitter Chipboard Stickers. Oh and dont forget the buttons!
Last but not least I took forever to complete this very cute project and I am so happy with the results. The reason why it took forever was because I first ran out of ink and then a hundred and one other things piled up on my to do list so I am so happy to finally have it finished. And it was my very first successful embossed image! Yay! lol!
Is that purse not just the cutest? I love love it! It is Kelleigh Ratzlaff’s Sassy Purse Template available at the Digichick. I used some Sassafras Lass Papers, Pink and Orange Bazzil Cardstock, Fiskars Threading Water Punch and my MM Slice for the flowers and butterfly.
So before I forget I hope you all have a wonderful valentines day!

Print the Candy Cane PDF. Trim the individual wrappers.
Roll it around a pen/pencil.

Adhere along the edge length with double sided tape to form a tube.
STEP 3
Fold the Bottom over.
STEP 4
Insert your treats. Use a pen to push it down to the bottom.
