12×12 Hybrid Beginner Page

Finished 12x12 Hybrid Layout

I have been meaning to post this easy hybrid Tutorial on my blog for a while! It was for a past TDC Challenge but I think there are some great points here that are worth noting. Sometimes we feel limited because we 'think' we are not capable to make something with the tools we have on hand. Sometimes we feel it is easier to splurge on that tool that promises to deliver these amazing benefits...never thinking out of the box realizing you CAN do it with the tools you already have. Hybrid Basics: Print a Layout at Home

DSC_1149

Printing your pages might not strictly be considered Hybrid but in my book that is the first step you take towards it. The Daily Digi did a very comprehensive study on Photobook Printing but I am just not that dedicated to do a whole album...I know sad! ;) lol. But I am all for instant gratification. So I print at Home. There are a few things you should consider if you want to print at home. Album and Size/Format     I use American Crafts 8x8 D Ring Binder Album. … [Read more...]

I love doing Hybrid Cards...it is fast, fun and economical. It is a great format to use when you are starting out in Hybrid. It is not a too big project and will also not take a lot of time and planning. So as I have mentioned in my previous post 'So what is Hybrid Scrapbooking Anyway?' I have a few steps I usually do to create a Hybrid Project. First up is Planning. Use a sketch, browse the galleries, look at magazines...get a Card Template/Map  that inspires you.
